The pace

Two collections a year, not four. It is arithmetic rather than a position: a bridal panel is eight or nine hundred hours, there are two hundred and forty people on the roll, and the sum does not move.

What changes if you insist on four is never the calendar — it is the embroidery. Density drops, real zari becomes metallised polyester, frame time shortens and the silk puckers coming off the adda. So we close a collection when the last piece leaves, keep one of everything, and open the archive to anyone who asks to see it.

Come and see

One piece from every collection stays with the house. The archive is kept at the Mumbai flagship and it is shown to anyone who asks, whether or not they are buying.
