Kashi Kadhwa Banarasi Saree

Kadhwa means every motif is woven as its own unit rather than carried across the back of the cloth, so there are no float threads to cut away and no thin patches where they were. Two weavers worked this pallu for eleven weeks on a pit loom in Madanpura.
